PDSB students create local food menus for their cafeterias in second annual âCooking Up Actionâ challenge!
MISSISSAUGA, ON â MAY 20, 2012 / Peel) Secondary school students in the Peel District School Board (PDSB) are putting local food at the forefront in their school cafeterias. Student teams got to work in their classrooms designing their own cafeteria menu items featuring local healthy Ontario foods to compete in the second annual âCooking Up Action!â Culinary Challenge.
On May 10th, three student teams from John Fraser and Clarkson Secondary Schools will compete in Cooking Up Actionâs cook-off finale.
