VICTORIA – Patients at Victoria General and Royal Jubilee hospitals will soon be served healthy and nutritious meals with increased menu choices as a result of a new contract VIHA has signed for food services at these two sites.
The contract is with Morrison (a division of Compass Group Canada) for a new, innovative food preparation and delivery model called Steamplicity®, which steams food using the natural water in the ingredients – a method of cooking that retains the most nutrients in food.
